Gruppa studio was founded in Barcelona by Anne-Sereine Tremblay and Jan Kudlička in 2017 after gaining experience in offices at Bjarke Ingels Group (Copenhagen, DK), MVRDV (Rotterdam, NL), Mecanoo (Delft, NL) and Bruther (Paris, FR).

We always go for a solution which is a result of maximum flexibility in terms of use and also to be able to attract a widest type of users and creating welcoming spaces that can become activators of positive changes in both small and big scale.

Anne-Sereine Tremblay (*1984, Bourg-en-Bresse, France) studied architecture at INSA of Strasbourg and BUT Budapest, Hungary. After graduating in 2007, she worked at Clément Vergely and Playtime in Lyon, France, and later in Paris as a project leader at Bruther office. Between 2015-2018, she worked as a project leader at MVRDV international studio in Rotterdam, on large scale educational and residential projects. Since 2015, she has been an authorized architect at Dutch Architecten Register SBA.

Jan Kudlička (*1985, Brno, Czechia) studied architecture at Brno University of Technology and UPV Valencia, Spain. During his studies, he completed an internship at Bjarke Ingels Group in Copenhagen. In 2010 he spent 3 months in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to start a research on slum dwellings and after graduating in 2011 he went to work in Paris. Between 2015-2017, he joined the international office of Mecanoo in Delft, the Netherlands, where he worked on both small and large residential, cultural and urban projects.
